Rolo is a wonderfully clever lad who responds brilliantly to commands both in the house and out on his adventures. He can be very cautious of visitors and unsure around new people at first, so he will need patient owners who can manage introductions calmly and give him the space he needs. Once he feels secure and gets to know you, his incredibly loving nature shines through, and he proves to be a devoted, affectionate friend.
Once Rolo settles fully into his environment, his lovely playful side really comes to life. He is always keen for a tasty treat, which makes working on his training a fun and rewarding experience for everyone involved. After a bit of playtime, his absolute favourite activity is curling up and having a proper chill on the sofa next to his favourite humans.
Out on walks, Rolo is a delight to handle as he trots along nicely on his lead. He is not comfortable around other dogs, so he is looking to be the only pet in the household and will be happiest being walked in quieter, low-traffic areas where he can relax and enjoy his surroundings without feeling overwhelmed.
Rolo will thrive with patient owners in a low-visitation home who understand the value of giving a dog time to build confidence at their own pace.
