About us

We are a completely independent practice, owned by Birmingham Dogs Home which is a registered charity.  Our team is committed to providing caring, high-quality services to our private clients and their pets, as well as caring for the many homeless dogs the charity rescues and rehomes every year. Our team consists of veterinary surgeons, registered veterinary nurses, veterinary care assistants, receptionists and non-clinical staff.

History of the clinic

In 2021 we launched our Healing Hearts Appeal to raise the funds we needed to equip an in-house veterinary clinic at our rescue centre near Solihull.

We are hugely grateful to our fantastic supporters,  the many individuals and organisations who fundraised and worked so hard to help us to reach our target.

Our special thanks goes to the following organisations for believing in our vision and for their very generous donations:

By running our own veterinary clinic we are able to significantly reduce the costs of essential medical care and better manage both emergency cases and the ongoing physical health of dogs on their road to recovery.

In March 2022 we were delighted to officially open our new clinic and we are very proud of our new veterinary team who are already providing both life-saving and daily medical care for the many dogs we look after, every day of the year.

Today we offer a full-service general practice for dogs, cats and ‘small furries’ and a compassionate, high-quality service to all our clients and their pets.

The income generated from our clinic helps to fund the vital life-changing and life-saving work of Birmingham Dogs Home’s rescue centres, which care for over 2,000 abandoned dogs from across the Midlands each year.

Thank you for supporting Birmingham Dogs Home by entrusting our clinic to care for your beloved pets.
