Stockton is a big lovable boy who has been with us for quite some time and has become really popular during his time here. He originally came in as a stray so we do not know his past but during his time with us he has formed lovely bonds and shown just how sweet he can be. He is now more than ready to find a long-term loving home and family of his own.
Stockton is a lively and energetic boy who does not always realise his size. Because of this he will need an experienced home that is confident in handling large breeds and can continue his training and support. He walks on a no pull harness but remains very strong so ongoing guidance will be important.
When he becomes overexcited Stockton can be a little boisterous and may jump up for a fuss. He can get a bit overexcited at times but has a very gentle side and a lovely nature about him. He is most motivated by human interaction and really enjoys spending time with his people.
Stockton loves his toys especially squeaky toys and soft toys which are a great way to engage with him and build a bond.
His ideal home will also have secure fencing of 6ft or higher to keep him safe. Stockton may also require multiple meets to ensure the right home is found. He will need a committed family who can give him the time, structure and understanding he needs to thrive.
