Post: Registered Veterinary Nurse
Responsible to: Linsey Yeomans, Practice Manager/ Head Nurse
Salary: Up to £32,000 dependent on experience.
Location: The Vet Clinic, Birmingham Dogs Home, Solihull

Start Time: 40 hours per week. Monday – Thursday between the hours of 8.30am-6.30pm. 1 in 4 Saturday is required between 9-1pm
Summary:
We are expanding our nursing team and looking for a confident Registered Veterinary Nurses to join our growing practice, The Vet Clinic at Birmingham Dogs Home.
The right person will need some experience in all areas of clinical nursing including theatre practice, inpatient care, diagnostics and nurse consultations and supporting other parts of the clinic such as reception, and pharmacy. An understanding of and enthusiasm for care of shelter dogs would be an advantage. A nurse who is able to take on some admin duties such as insurance claims, RPS duties would be ideal
Must be able to work Monday – Thursday 8.30-6.30 (40 hours). 1 in 4 Saturday 9-1
A generous package is offered, dependent on experience. CPD is supported and encouraged.

Experience: RVN for 2 year minimum with RCVS (required) 1 year or a confident recently graduated nurse.
6 weeks annual leave inclusive of bank holidays.
Work Location: Main place of work at The Vet Clinic. Solihull, BDH Centre, This will involve a shared rota of Wolverhampton work so will require a driving license.
This is a mix on theatre, prep, consults, kennels and reception (private and shelter)
