Meet Stevie, a lovable Cane Corso with a heart as big as his size. Stevie was brought into our centre as a stray, where we quickly discovered that he is blind. Despite this challenge, Stevie still gets around very well and is now looking for a loving home to call his own.

Stevie may be visually impaired, but his friendly and calm demeanour shines through. He may get excited when walking on his lead from time to time, but with patience and understanding, he quickly settles down.

Stevie can be initially unsure, but blossoms when he learns to recognise your voice and smell, once he becomes comfortable he becomes bouncy and boisterous, showing his joyful nature.

Stevie is a smart cookie who knows some of his basic commands such as Sit, responding to his name, and recalls. We do feel that Stevie would benefit from some confidence building and basic obedience training. He walks well on a lead and a two point harness, and shows no interest in other dogs in our care.

Due to his blindness, we recommend that Stevie be the only dog in the home. New people and surroundingsmay make him a bit wary initially, but with time and patience, he warms up well.

Stevie’s journey to finding his forever home includes a need for dental surgery, which is scheduled for late June and will be preformed by our vets. This procedure will ensure that Stevie’s health is in top shape for his new life with his loving family.

If you are interested in adopting Stevie, please fill in an enquiry form below. You will then receive a questionnaire to complete. If your application is successful, we will then contact you regarding the next steps
