Meet Moana, the resilient 5-year-old Dog de Bordeaux with a heart of gold. Moana’s journey hasn’t been an easy one. She arrived at our centre as a severely emaciated stray, her spirit bruised with her body after a harrowing ordeal on a motorway, where she was tragically hit by a car.

Despite the hardships she’s faced, Moana has made a remarkable recovery in our care, She’s a testament to the resilience of dogs and the power of love and care. Now this lovely, excitable girl is ready for a forever home to call her own.

Moana is a bundle of energy and joy, always eager to greet the world with a wagging tail. She adores going for walks, though she tends to pull forward when she catches an intriguing scent. otherwise, she walks beautifully on a lead. While Moana knows the basics like sit, she’s still learning and could use a patient owner to help guide her through learning more commands.

her playful nature extends to dogs, as she’s proven to be friendly and excitable with other dogs at our centre. Moana’s sweetness knows no bounds, though she’s not particularly interested in toys currently. Still, this does have the potential to change once she settles into a home environment.

Moana could potentially thrive in a household with another large, playful dog as a companion. And while shes a gentle soul, we recommend a home with children aged 8 and above, given her size and exuberance. So if you’re ready to open your heart to a survivor like Moana, please read below that summarises how to submit an application.

If you are interested in adopting Moana, please fill in an enquiry form below. You will then receive a questionnaire to complete. If your application is successful, we will then contact you regarding the next steps
