Fergus is a sweet lad with a wonderful personality and a real zest for life. He is an exceptionally friendly boy who adores people and thrives on human interaction. When it comes to his favourite humans he is a real sweetheart who loves cuddles and will happily lean right into your chest for a big hug. He truly softens and engages whenever he receives affection making him a absolute joy to be around.
Fergus is certainly not a shy or quiet boy and he likes to let everyone know he is there! He can be quite vocal when excited especially when he sees other dogs out and about. His barking comes purely from excitement rather than aggression as he genuinely enjoys canine company. He could live with another dog provided his new four-legged friend is happy to tolerate his enthusiastic vocal nature.
Out on walks Fergus handles nicely on his lead and takes treats very gently from your hand. He can get super excited when someone comes to say hello and may jump up in greeting but it is all part of his happy enthusiastic character. While he hasn’t shown much interest in toys just yet he may well discover a playful side once settled in a home.
Fergus could live with children and another suitable dog. Because he loves being around people so much he needs a home where someone is around for the majority of the time to give him all the care he deserves.
