Checking over your pets

When it comes to our furry friends, looking after their health is crucial.

Regularly checking over your pets ties into the CHAIR feature – it’s a way to Care for their well-being, ensuring they’re Healthy and thriving, all in the comfort of your own home.

Coat

Regularly examining your pet’s coat is essential. It’s not just about their appearance but also about detecting any changes in the quality of their fur, like dryness, flakiness, or bald spots, which could indicate underlying health issues.

Health

Monitoring your pet’s overall health involves more than just physical appearances. Regular check-ups help identify changes in behaviour, appetite, energy levels, or any signs of discomfort, aiding in early detection of health concerns.

Appearance

While appearance isn’t everything, it does play a role in indicating your pet’s well-being. A healthy pet often has bright eyes, clean ears, and a shiny coat. Changes in appearance could signal health problems that need attention. They feel better too!

Inspection

A thorough inspection involves examining various aspects of your pet’s body, from their eyes, ears, and teeth to checking for lumps or bumps. It’s about ensuring there are no irregularities or potential health issues that might need veterinary attention. If you have a pet with long hair, regular grooms will certainly help you notice any lumps or bumps.

Relationship

Engaging in regular grooming fosters a strong bond between you and your pet. It’s not just about their physical well-being but also about the emotional connection formed through these moments of care and attention. Especially if you have just adopted a new pet.

By focusing on Coat, Health, Appearance, Inspection, and Relationship, regular check-ups carried out by you at home become a holistic approach to caring for your pet’s well-being, encompassing both their physical health and the bond you share with them.
